ECET Aims to:
Be an identified body which provides advocacy for young children, both within the educational, and the wider community.
Monitor, promote, maintain and develop appropriate early childhood education practices at state and national level.
Promote the sharing of innovative approaches and the evaluation and dissemination of current practices and research.
Ensure that the needs of young students are represented in the formulation and implementation of departmental policies.
Provide professional and personal support for early childhood educators.
